This collection of pictures at Christie's in New York is wonderful and can be seen online as well. On 7th. April begun the sale and it is a good investition for those who can afford to buy some of them.

ReplyDeleteWell Lobo, women used to smoke in public from the 20ties on... This pic was shot in the 70ties: may be as symbol for the "liberated" women after the 60ties?? A new Femenine Ideal??
Sadly we can not ask Irving Penn about the issue and I was only just imagining why... ;)
